From four people gathered in a Franklin county living room in 1976, the Maine Genealogical Society has grown to over 1,000 members dispersed in all 50 states, the Canadian provinces and other countries. What does your Membership Get You?

Your membership includes our quarterly journal The Maine Genealogist, our quarterly newsletter, option to post queries on our online query board, discounts on our special publications, conferences and workshops.

Once you have logged into the website.

Click on the profile image. (If you haven't changed it before, this will be a colored circle with the first letter of your name in it.)

At the top, Point at  “Edit” and click on “Update your profile”

In the next screen, find the two password fields and type in your current password, then your new password

Click the “Update” button at the bottom to save.
